Bio

Terrell Anderson, better known by, Droop Pop, is a native New Yorker, born and raised in the Bronx. Droop turned to rap music early in life, looking for an escape from the untimely passing of his mother. Love of rap and all things hip-hop was the foundation of his childhood friendship with Bad Boy rapper French Montana.

Living in the same neighborhood, Droop and French formed a tight knit relationship, like brothers and as French’s career evolved, so did Droop. When French started Cokaine City Records in 2008, he tapped Droop to be one of the first artists featured on the label along with other Max B and original Coke boys, Brock and Cheeze. Droop, along with the aforementioned artists recorded and released dozens of mixtapes, spearheaded by French Montana, which had the New York City streets buzzing.

Droop has put in the hours at the studio, appearing on numerous mixtapes and as a featured artist on many of his label mate’s albums. He is also an experienced veteran of the stage, having toured with French Montana and Chinx since 2008 when Cocaine City appeared on the New York music scene.

More recently, Droop has released his own mixtapes, including the What U Need Street Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 in 20914, which was hosted by DJ Big Mike and featured the likes of French Montana, Chinx, Harry Fraud, Mike Zombie, Dame Grease and Max B to name a few.

While Droop has been a mainstay in the mixtape circuit, he is ready to take his music career to the next level and is scheduled to release his first full length commercial album – Kokaine Kowboy – on November 20, 2015 through NEXT Records.
